Blind persons in rural Kenya have no access to education. With proper training and rehabilitation, they too can become useful, contributing members of society. Living in remote, rural areas, makes it difficult to access information regarding braille, mobility training and rehabilitation. The primary goal of the project is to provide training in braille and assistive computer technology to the blind in rural Kitale, which leads to intellectual freedom, equal opportunity, personal security and employability skills. Your donation will help Jipange Special Needs Center reach this goal thereby changing many lives for the better!
